What's on: Reading group

The Degrowth London reading group meets every second Tuesday of the month. Join us on Tuesday February 10th, 6.30-8pm at LARC (62 Fieldgate St, London E1 1ES) for a discussion of Silvia Federici's work on witch-hunting and its connection to the rise of capitalism and patriarchy. We will read 'Why Speak of the Witch Hunts Again?' (pp.11-14) of this book, and the chapter 'The Great Witch-Hunt in Europe' (especially pp.163-179;198-206) of this book. 

Please read the material before our discussion and we look forward to chatting through together! We'll probably go to a nearby pub afterwards. Next session: 10/3.
